Global Leadership Initiatives for Education, Health and Social Development (GLIEHSD) is a reputable multi-dimensional social impacts non-governmental organization (NGO) established on 29th January, 2020 with Reg. No: CAC/IT/143252 headquartered in Nigeria with strategic committed to advancing sustainable development through integrated interventions in education, health, environmental sustainability, and socio-economic empowerment. We are established to respond to the growing needs of vulnerable and underserved populations as well as bridging the gaps in assessing challenges in hard-to-reach communities by proffering enabling interventions especially in emergency situations. GLIEHSD works at community, state, and national levels to promote inclusive and equitable access to opportunities that improve quality of life and communities development.

GLIEHSD focus is driven by a team of experienced development practitioners, public health professionals, educators, sustainable environment advocates and community mobilizers who are passionate about creating lasting impact. The organization adopts a community-centered and participatory approach, ensuring that beneficiaries are actively involved in the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs.

Our work focuses on key areas including girls’ education and youth empowerment, health promotion and disease prevention, health insurance awareness and enrollment, sexual and reproductive health, immunization advocacy, environmental protection, and livelihood support initiatives. We also leverage digital innovation and data-driven strategies to enhance service delivery, accountability, and outreach.

GLIEHSD has successfully implemented and supported interventions such as immunization campaigns, community health awareness programs, and education support initiatives, working closely with government agencies, development partners, and local stakeholders.

is a distinguished humanitarian, public health and sustainable development professional with over 18 years of multidisciplinary experience spanning public health, environmental sustainability, community development, humanitarian response, research, policy advocacy, and social justice. He is the Executive Director of the Global Leadership Initiatives for Education, Health and Social Development (GLIEHSD), where he provides strategic leadership in designing and implementing evidence-based programs and projects that improve the lives of vulnerable populations across Nigeria. Recognized for his diligence, integrity, and commitment to service, Emmanuel is a social impacts strategist, humanitarian specialist, public health educator, sustainable environment advocate, biodiversity and marine ecosystem conservationist, monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEAL) expert, researcher, public policy and data analyst, and development consultant. His work focuses on strengthening health systems, advancing quality education, promoting climate resilience, and fostering inclusive community development. Throughout his career, he has worked extensively with indigenous peoples and underserved communities, including women, children, adolescents, youth, older persons, and persons living in fragile and hard-to-reach settings affected by poverty, disease, conflict, and social exclusion. His expertise includes project management, monitoring and evaluation, research, advocacy, social behavioural change/awareness campaign, community mobilization, data collection and analysis, volunteer management, humanitarian coordination, facilitation, and evidence-based policy development. Emmanuel studied from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and as well completed numerous international professional certifications from globally respected institutions, including UNITAR, UNICEF, WHO, USAID Global Health eLearning Center, the World Bank Institute, Alison Academy, and the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi, covering immunization, humanitarian leadership, climate change, environmental sustainability, public policy, health and safety, community development, and NGO management etc. He is also a recipient of several prestigious recognitions, including the Champion Award – 20M Farmers Initiative (Farm Carbon Africa 2025), the Distinguished Public Health Leadership Award, and several other commendations for his contributions to climate research and humanitarian service. His professional affiliations including memberships and partnerships also span across the United Nations Department of Global Communications, United Nations Global Compact, UNEP Major Groups and Stakeholders, IUCN, IPBES, Stop TB Partnership, Global Sustainable Futures Network (UK), World Bank Civil Society Policy Forum, Nigeria Network of NGOs, Global Climate and Health Alliance, Institute for Humanitarian and Social Development, Institute of Management Consultants, and numerous other national and international platforms. Driven by a passion for innovation and sustainable impact, Sir Emmanuel Esio continues to champion collaborative solutions that advance public health, environmental protection, social inclusion, humanitarian action, and the Sustainable Development Goals, while empowering communities to build healthier, more resilient, and sustainable futures.

A distinguished Nigerian academic, environmental scientist, and development advocate from Akwa Ibom State. Born on 28 July 1956, he has built an outstanding career in higher education, research, environmental management, and institutional leadership. He is widely respected for his contributions to scientific knowledge, capacity development, and sustainable development initiatives in Nigeria. Professor Antai holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Oceanography and has dedicated decades to teaching, research, mentorship, and community service. Throughout his professional career, he has contributed significantly to advancing environmental science, marine and coastal resource management, climate-related research, and sustainable ecosystem conservation. His scholarly work has supported evidence-based approaches to environmental sustainability and natural resource management. He serves as a Professor at the University of Calabar, where he has trained and mentored numerous students, researchers, and professionals who have gone on to contribute meaningfully to academia, government, and the development sector. His academic leadership, research excellence, and commitment to knowledge dissemination have earned him recognition within and beyond the university community. Professor Antai, currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Advisors (BoA) of the Global Leadership Initiatives for Education, Health and Social Development (GLIEHSD). In this role, he provides strategic oversight, policy guidance, and visionary leadership to support the organization's mission of advancing education, public health, environmental sustainability, social inclusion, and community development. His extensive wealth of experience in research, governance, and institutional development strengthens GLIEHSD’s capacity to deliver impactful and sustainable programs. As a respected scholar and organization governance structure head, Professor Antai continues to champion interdisciplinary collaboration, environmental stewardship, evidence-based decision-making, and leadership development. His wealth of experience, integrity, and dedication to national development make him an invaluable asset to GLIEHSD and a source of inspiration to emerging leaders, researchers, and development practitioners across Nigeria.

is an accomplished legal practitioner, corporate governance expert, and development advocate from Yobe State, Nigeria. Born on 5th November 1981, she has established a distinguished career in legal practice, alternative dispute resolution, corporate administration, and institutional governance. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree and Barrister-at-Law (B.L.) qualification and is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ACIS). Her professional development is further strengthened through specialized training and memberships with the Mediation Training Institute, Betterways Academy Consulting School, and her designation as a Notary Public for Nigeria. Barrister, Zaynab Musa currently serves as a Partner at Prodiverse Legal, where she provides strategic legal advisory services, corporate governance support, dispute resolution expertise, and regulatory compliance guidance to individuals, organizations, and institutions. Her professional experience spans across corporate law, mediation, legal drafting, governance systems, stakeholder engagement, and organizational development. As a member of the Board of Advisors/Technical Working Group (BoA/TWG) of Global Leadership Initiatives for Education, Health and Social Development (GLIEHSD), she contributes valuable expertise in legal compliance, policy development, risk management, institutional governance, and strategic partnerships. is an accomplished finance, administrator, and public sector management professional from Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. Born on 5 August 1967, he has built a distinguished career in financial management, organizational administration, leadership, and public health sector governance, contributing significantly to institutional efficiency and accountability within Nigeria’s health system. He holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management. He has currently obtained a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA)/Ph.D. in Leadership and Good Governance which further strengthening his expertise in strategic leadership, organizational development, and public sector governance. Dr. Anduang is an Associate Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) amongst others. These professional affiliations reflect his commitment to excellence, ethical practice, and continuous professional development. He currently serves as Deputy Director and Head of Administration and Accounts, South East Zone, Enugu, at the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA). In this role, he provides leadership in financial administration, resource management, organizational planning, personnel management, and operational oversight, supporting the effective delivery of primary healthcare programs across the region. As a member of the Board of Advisors/Technical Working Group (BoA/TWG) of Global Leadership Initiatives for Education, Health and Social Development (GLIEHSD), Dr. Anduang offers strategic guidance on financial management, institutional governance, organizational sustainability, and administrative systems strengthening. His extensive experience in leadership, accounting, and public health administration makes him a valuable contributor to GLIEHSD’s mission of advancing health, education, environmental sustainability, and community development through accountable and impactful programming.

is a seasoned public health professional, researcher, and health systems expert from Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. Born on 22 February 1962, he has dedicated several decades to advancing public health policy, health research, and national health system strengthening initiatives across Nigeria. He holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Physiology, a Master of Arts (M.A.), and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), complemented by extensive professional training in Global Health, Epidemiology, Monitoring and Evaluation, Leadership and Management in Health, Project Management, Global Health Research, Policy Development and Advocacy, and Human Resources for Health. Dr. Anthony is a Fellow of the Human Capital Development of Nigeria (FHCD) and a member of the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology amongst others. His multidisciplinary expertise has enabled him to contribute significantly to evidence-based health planning, research coordination, policy implementation, and national health program management. He retired as a Deputy Director and Head of National Health Survey Coordination at the Federal Ministry of Health, where he oversees the coordination of national health surveys and supports data-driven decision-making for health sector planning and performance improvement. His work has strengthened health information , monitoring and evaluation frameworks, and public health interventions nationwide. As a member of the Board of Advisors/Technical Working Group (BoA/TWG) of Global Leadership Initiatives for Education, Health and Social Development (GLIEHSD), Dr. Anthony provides strategic guidance on public health programming, research, monitoring and evaluation, policy development, and health systems strengthening. His vast experience, leadership, and commitment to improving health outcomes make him a valuable contributor to GLIEHSD’s mission of promoting health, education, environmental sustainability, and community development.

He holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction, a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Curriculum and Instruction, a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Public Policy Studies, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Public Policy and Administration. Dr. Ukpong currently serves as Deputy Director of Research at the Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council (NERDC), where he contributes significantly to national educational reforms, curriculum innovation, policy research, and evidence-based decision-making. His professional experience spans educational planning, research management, policy analysis, capacity building, and institutional development.
